Dear Diary,
Well today was a pretty great day. I woke up earlier today because my parents invited some of their friends over for a Sunday breakfast. My parents and I made a big breakfast of pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, eggs, toast and fresh fruit. It was a lot of work, but was so worth it. I had a little bit of everything, and boy was I stuffed! After the breakfast all the adults sat around and talked about how things were going for them. My parents brought you up and their friends agreed with them that you were a great idea.
Close to lunch we packed up some sandwiches, a salad, and some little cakes and went on a picnic. The park is always a fun place to go. It has a large lake in the middle of it with bridges connecting the shores. There are machines on the bridge where you can put in a quarter and get some food to feed the fish. After eating that's just what I did, then I went on a short walk before finally coming back to visit some more.
After everyone finished eating we got out some fishing poles and tried our luck, unfortunately I didn't have any. Meh. But one guy caught a large bass! It was really slippery but really shiny in the sun. I think it may be strange that I don't mind fishing and other stuff that girls aren't really supposed to like, but my mom tells me that it isn't so strange after all. Well she likes it to so I guess she's right.
Finally we were ready to leave the park. Since we left later than we wanted to, we stopped at a restaurant to have dinner. I really like the place we stopped at, the food was so good! It was then time to say goodbyes and we went home. My family rested a bit to relax from the day. When I was ready for bed, I said my goodnights and came on up to my room, where I am now, writing to you. I'm going to go to bed now though. School is tomorrow and I don't want to be too tired.
Thanks, Diary.

Wow, this is a little strange. I've never actually had a diary before, but Mom says that it will hope so I guess I may as well try it. So I just write to you like you're a person hm? I can do that I guess. Well if I'm going to do that I guess I should give some information about myself.
My name is Katrina, but most people call me either Kat or Trina. I'm seventeen years old and like other people my age, am attending highschool. Oh fun...highschool. Well I guess it would be fun for somebody who's popular. Oh well, since I'm a sophomore I only have two years left after this one. I can't wait. Hopefully the people in college will b

Another day of school, it went pretty normal...oh wait, this is my first school day that I'm writing about, I guess I should go through what happened then, that is what you're for after all. Lol.
Well I woke up a bit earlier than normal this morning, but I used the time to get a bit of exercising done. I really like being active, helps with a lot of things. Then I went down and made some cereal. After that I walked to my bus stop, making sure I brought my mp3 player. I always listen to my music when I walk and ride the bus. Music is the spice of life after all. Haha.
The bus ride was pretty boring, other than my music. Only a f
